La mine emploie directement environ 2.300 travailleurs dont 96% de Burkinab\u00e8. Sur l\u2019ensemble du personnel, on compte 11% de femmes. Parmi les employ\u00e9s nationaux, pr\u00e8s de 40 % proviennent de la r\u00e9gion du Sahel. De plus, chaque mois, environ 100 journaliers sont recrut\u00e9s dans les villages voisins. La contribution de la mine d\u2019Essakane dans le d\u00e9veloppement r\u00e9gional se fait aussi \u00e0 travers ses prestataires. Ils ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 environ 500 emplois indirects dans la r\u00e9gion du Sahel. Depuis 2012, un Plan de d\u00e9veloppement de la rel\u00e8ve (PDR) s\u2019est mis en place afin de former les employ\u00e9s burkinab\u00e8. Ils b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019un accompagnement dans la gestion de leurs carri\u00e8res pour permettre \u00e0 l\u2019entreprise de les pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 remplacer l\u2019effectif des expatri\u00e9s. Concr\u00e8tement, le plan de d\u00e9veloppement de la rel\u00e8ve est un programme visant le transfert de connaissances des employ\u00e9s expatri\u00e9s aux employ\u00e9s nationaux \u00e0 haut potentiel, afin de leur permettre d\u2019occuper des postes cl\u00e9s au sein de la mine d\u2019Essakane. \u00c0 la fin de 2017, plus de 90 employ\u00e9s avaient termin\u00e9 ou \u00e9taient en formation dans le programme. Environ 20 employ\u00e9s de plus s\u2019ajouteront en 2018 et d\u00e9buteront le processus. Il y a environ 115 postes d\u2019expatri\u00e9s \u00e0 combler et, lorsque ces employ\u00e9s auront compl\u00e9t\u00e9 le programme du plan de d\u00e9veloppement de la rel\u00e8ve, l\u2019objectif est que plus de 70 % des postes d\u2019expatri\u00e9s soient occup\u00e9s par des Burkinab\u00e8. D\u2019ici \u00e0 la fin 2020, la mine a pour ambition de se doter d\u2019une \u00e9quipe de gestion essentiellement burkinab\u00e8. Mais, comment se d\u00e9roule le processus\u00a0? Suite \u00e0 l\u2019identification des postes \u00e0 nationaliser, les candidats \u00e0 haut potentiel sont soumis \u00e0 des tests psychom\u00e9triques et \u00e9laborent ensuite leurs plans de d\u00e9veloppement individuel. Les employ\u00e9s s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s sont coacher, former, \u00e9valuer, observer&#8230; La prise de d\u00e9cision de qualit\u00e9, le leadership, la communication efficace, le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences des employ\u00e9s sont, entre autres, des modules con\u00e7us pour la nationalisation des postes. La marque IAMGOLD \u2018\u2019Pouvoir d\u2019agir, performance extraordinaire\u2019\u2019 a inculqu\u00e9 une culture de travail en responsabilisant davantage les employ\u00e9s. Le plan de d\u00e9veloppement de la rel\u00e8ve est un projet d\u2019envergure et tr\u00e8s ambitieux, accueilli avec beaucoup de fiert\u00e9 et d\u2019optimisme par les comp\u00e9tences locales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>J B <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Encadr\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00e9ficit d\u2019une d\u2019expertise nationale <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u2019initiative de la mine se justifie par le fait que dans la gestion des mines au Burkina, il existe un d\u00e9ficit d\u2019expertise nationale.
